As part of a very busy Active Week, the school held it's annual Sports Day on Wednesday June 11th. Following our school walk on Tuesday, the children were very excited for Sports Day. We were so fortunate to hold our Sports Day across both the school campus in the hall and on both astro yards, as well as making the most of the pitches in Holywell Park. The sunny, warm weather added to the great atmosphere with classes participating in lots of different activities including the obstacle course, egg and spoon race, bowling, skipping, javelin and parachute games for the junior classes, with senior classes playing tennis, basketball, tug-o-war, poc fada, egg and spoon race, discus, javelin, frisbee and boules games. Classes also got to try out the newly installed gym equipment in the park. We hope everyone had an action-packed day of fun and exercise!
